February 20, 2015 – “The Canadian electrical industry is competing with other innovative industries for the interest of talented, young individuals,” said Siemens Canada’s Joris Myny, chair of the 2015 EFC Scholarship Program. “We need to invest in Canadian talent to foster their pursuit of careers in the electrical engineering and electronics industries.”

Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) and its members have outdone themselves with the 2015 program, setting a new record with $120,000 in funding across 52 scholarships. Now entering its 20th year, the scholarship program has funded Canadian university and college students’ education with over $1 million since its inception.
