The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) published LSD 23-2010 Recommended Practice: Lamp Seasoning for Fluorescent Dimming Systems. Last published in 2002, the white paper was produced by NEMA Lamp Section. It makes recommendations for “the commissioning and maintenance of lamps in dimmable linear fluorescent lighting systems to reduce flicker and other visual instabilities,” says the release. The paper mainly updated guidance on lamp seasoning.
