NEMA publishes ANSI ANSLG C78.81 for electric lamps

On behalf of the American National Standard Lighting Group (ANSLG), the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published ANSI_ANSLG C78.81 “American National Standard for Electric Lamps—Double-Capped Fluorescent Lamps—Dimensional and Electrical Characteristics”. This standard was last revised in 2005.

This standard details the physical and electrical characteristics of the
principal types of fluorescent lamps intended for application on
conventional line frequency circuits and electronic high-frequency
circuits. This revision includes the addition of three new fluorescent
lamp data sheets for the following lamps:

• 25W, 48-in. T8 (sheet 7881-ANSI-1028-1)
• 28W, 48-in. T8 (sheet 7881-ANSI-1029-1)
• 30W, 48-in. T8 (sheet 7881-ANSI-1030-1)
