NEMA publishes ANSI C136.38 for area induction lighting

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA, www.nema.org) has published ANSI C136.38-2009, “American National Standard for Roadway and Area Lighting Equipment—Induction Lighting”. It defines the electrical and mechanical requirements, and describes how the induction system should be rated. It also provides the information necessary for the product label.

This addition to the ANSI C136 series joins more than 30 other
standards covering a range of topics related to roadway and area
lighting, including filament lamps, vertical tenons and vandal shields.
