February 29, 2012 – The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published the 2011 edition of NEMA MG 1 Motors and Generators, calling it the definitive standard for practical information on performance, safety, testing, construction, and manufacture of AC and DC motors and generators. The most significant changes are seen in Parts 1, 12, and 20, which changes including enhanced efficiency tables for 8 pole machines and an expanded large machine section.
