NEMA publishes PRP 5-2015 for surface non-metallic raceway

July 9, 2015 – The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (U.S.) published NEMA 5-2015, which provides information on the proper application and installation of surface non-metallic raceway permitted for use in dry and non-hazardous locations, and areas not subject to physical abuse, in accordance with CE Code-Part I (and NEC).

Developed by the NEMA Polymer Raceway Products Technical Committee, the new document includes recommended practices concerning installation tools, handling and storage, raceway cutting, bending, securing and supporting, fittings and boxes, transition, divider wall(s) and accessories, wire fill, splices and taps, grounding, cleaning, and installation verification.
