NEMRA releases report on COVID-19’s impact on electrical industry

The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) has partnered with Channel Marketing Group (CMG) and DISC, an economic forecaster, to solicit the electrical market’s sentiment regarding COVID-19. Insights were provided by representatives, manufacturers and distributors.
“Channel Marketing Group and DISC generated an industry wide survey to communicate the effect that COVID-19 is having on the electrical industry. With nearly 450 responses it provides us with a substantial snap-shot of the current industry climate,” said Jim Johnson, president of NEMRA.

“As our country, and the world, face a truly unprecedented situation affecting families, businesses, communities, and our way of life, NEMRA will donate 50 per cent of the report proceeds to support our nation’s military heroes and their families through our affiliation and partnership the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. initiative,” said Johnson.
