Never fish wire again with GoConex

April 20, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

April 20, 2015 – Edmonton-based GoConex says it has solved the issue of fishing wire or cutting holes in walls when it comes to moving or adding switches.

The GoConex switch is a “switch without wires.” No wire, holes, staples, boxes or connectors from the load to the switch are needed, the company said. Just install a GoConex load controller in the junction box or an existing switch box, GoConex explained, and the load controller then receives “on” and “off” commands from a GoConex wireless switch.

The switches can be mounted on any surface: tile, brick, concrete, drywall, wood, etc. and the wireless range of the switch is 300 ft, according to GoConex.

One Load Controller can receive on/off commands from up to 10 different switches. The company noted 3-way, 4-way or 5-way switches can be created by adding more GoConex switches to the controller.
