New and updated CSA Overhead Line Standards – June 2011

June 14, 2011 – Several CSA standards relating to overhead systems and insulators are new or have been recently updated; please make sure you and your work teams have the latest information:

• C411.6 – Line post composite insulators for overhead distribution lines less than or equal to 75 kV
• C411.7 – Composite insulators for guy wires
• C411.4 – Composite suspension insulators for overhead lines > 75 kV
• C411.5 – Dead-end/Suspension Composite Insulators for Overhead Lines less than or equal to 75 kV
