New automatic setting system for Hilti drop-in HDI-P anchors

February 3, 2016 – Hilti says electrical contractors will find its new HDI-P short drop-in anchors and automatic setting tool system to be 50% faster than traditional installation methods requiring overhead hammering.

 
As the “only automatic setting system available for short drop-in anchors,” according to Hilti, the HDI-P auto setting tool and stop drill bit combo has been specifically designed to drill the correct depth and employ the proper force to set Hilti HDI-P anchors. This is the ideal solution for applications such as fastening sprinklers or rod hanging in post-tension slabs, hollow core panels and precast planks.
