New design for Knipex CoBolt mini bolt cutters
May 27, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

May 27, 2015 – The Knipex mini bolt cutters features a new design with etched blades, which the company says requires less force to make challenging cuts.
Constructed with newly patented micro-structured cutting edges, the mini cutters are designed to stop thicker, round objects from slipping out during a cut, Knipex said.
The product’s jaws open up to 1/4 in. and can fit in users’ pockets, said Alan Sipe, president and general manager at Knipex Tools. “In testing, we found that less cutting force is required since the object remains closer to the pivot point,” Sipe added.
There is also a gripping zone behind the joint for gripping of wires and pulling nails.
