New line of Irwin levels and squares – April 2012

June 28, 2012 | By Alyssa Dalton

June 28, 2012 – Irwin Tools has introduced a new line of levels for the tradesman. According to Irwin, the box beam levels feature a rugged frame tough enough to ensure accuracy every time, and have a continuous edge for scribing so complete and accurate level lines can be drawn anywhere. The aluminum I-beam levels offer Irwin’s Dual Chamber design, which claims to increase durability, ensure accuracy over time, and resist twisting. The 250 magnetic torpedo level comes with an integrated slope button for drainage levelling. With a heavy-duty cast aluminum body, this new torpedo level was developed to stand up to harsh jobsite conditions. The new range of utility levels includes Line and Pocket Levels, dual-directional Cross Check and multi-directional Bullseye Levels, and a new Post Level, which has a magnetic strip and rubber strap for hands-free installation of posts, railings and pipes. The Hi-Contrast Rafter and Framing Squares provide easy readings when cutting rafters and marking a multitude of angles.
