New options for Freightliner medium-duty trucks, Class 6/7 M2 106

January 28, 2015 – New option packages are available to order for Freightliner Trucks’ Class 6/7 M2 106, the company announced recently.

These include one with Allison Transmission’s FuelSense technology, software packages that automatically adapt to shift cycles and torque, maximizing transmission efficiency based on load, grade and duty cycle, said Freightliner.

This efficiency package also includes a 5.22 axle ratio and synthetic fuel efficiency lube for the steer and drive axles.

The driver rentention package speaks to luxury interior options including a roof console with storage, a wood grain instrument panel, Bluetooth-enabled SiriusXM radio, and a high-back air suspension heated driver seat among others.

Lastly, the professional image package has a variety of chrome and bright finish options for the M2 106, such as a chrome hood mounted air intake grille.
