August 13, 2012 – Calling all electrical engineers – EGS Electrical Group, a business of Emerson Industrial Automation, has launched a new social media community site: Power Panel Community – powered by Appleton (www.PowerPanelCommunity.com).

The site aims to be a centralized source for engineers who design, build and maintain oil, gas, petrochemical and other industrial facilities, by offering news, a blog and a discussion forum for contributing opinions and expertise.

“The goal of the site is to engage end-users with experience across a wide spectrum of industries and applications and provide them with a forum for industry insights and discussion,” said EGS Electrical Group.

Members can sign up for a weekly email highlighting key discussions, industry news articles and the featured weekly blog. Members are encouraged to comment and post discussion questions and engage with other Power Panel Community members.
