The reels feature a polycarbonate shatter-resistant light tube with 8 ultra-high intensity 1/2 watt LEDs. According to the company, the reels provide excellent illumination in a more compact hand-held device and have a “much greater” lifespan than both fluorescent or incandescent lighting options.
