New steel 3/8-in. connector added to Quick-Lok line

February 17, 2015 – Eaton has announced the latest expansion to its Crouse-Hinds Quick-Lok Pro line: the single new steel Quick-Lok Pro.

The 3/8-in. steel single connector has been designed for electrical contractors when connecting conduit and cable to boxes or enclosures. It can be used with a wide range of armored, metal clad and flexible conduits and comes with a snap-in feature that provides for tool-free installation and removal.

The steel design of this steel connector is ideal for healthcare, universities, governmental facilities and other applications that require or prefer steel fittings, said the company.

The fittings are reusable and are manufactured with an insulated throat design.

Certified for use with steel and aluminum cable types AC, MC, MCI-A, HCF in sizes ranging from 14/2 through 10/3 and FMC trade size 3/8-in., the steel single Quick-Lok Pro is cULus certified by Underwriters Laboratories for use in the U.S. and Canada. Rated for use with steel and aluminum armored conductors, the device is also Underwriters Laboratories (UL) approved for use with aluminum interlocking grounding metal clad cable, type MCI-A.
