September 29, 2016 - Barron Lighting Group, whose brands include Exitronix, TraceLite, specialtyLED and Indoor Grow Science, announced that its lighting test lab has been qualified as a participant in the Data Acceptance Program (DAP) by Underwriters Laboratories.
September 28, 2016 - The Ontario Energy Association (OEA) 2016 Excellence Award for Company of the Year went to Hydro Ottawa. September 27, 2016 - The electric vehicle bandwagon is nothing new to PowerStream. The Ontario energy company has been championing the technology since 2011, when it purchased two Nissan LEAFs, making it “the first organization in Canada to include electric vehicles in its fleet”. In honour of this EV leadership, the utility was recently awarded the inaugural Tom Mitchell Electric Vehicle Leadership Award, presented at the Canadian Electricity Association’s (CEA) annual Canadian Electric Vehicle Dealership Awards.

September 26, 2016 - The electric vehicle charging network in B.C. has reached a milestone with the completion of a BC Hydro pilot project to install 30 direct current (DC) fast charging stations throughout the province. Construction of the last station, located in Vernon, was completed this month.
