January 13, 2017 – Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) has issued its Call for Entries for the 2017 Industry Recognition Award, which is presented annually to an individual who has influenced the Canadian electrical industry—either as a current or retired industry delegate—or as an industry supporter.

“IRA award recipients demonstrate strong leadership through their personal and professional industry involvement, and symbolize dedication, balance, and achievement in regional, national and/or community activities,” says EFC.

Some past winners include:

• 2016 – Bob Shapiro
• 2015 – Harald Henze
• 2014 – Charlie Cipolla
