Over 6000 take in MEET 2016 in Moncton

May 27, 2016 | By Renée Francoeur

May 27, 2016 – Mechanical and electrical companies—EBMag was there!—from throughout Canada and the United Sates filled the Moncton Coliseum Complex last week for MEET 2016—the Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology Show, the “second largest industry event of its type in Canada and the largest trade event east of Montreal”.

Organizers report a mix of 6338 industry professionals were at this biennial event and we captured a few of them in our PHOTOS.

“This was another strong edition for MEET,” said Shawn Murphy, show manager. “Everyone seemed very upbeat; the energy was high and I heard from numerous exhibitors that they had a really good show. Many have already confirmed they’ll be returning for the next edition, which will take place in the spring of 2018.”

New this year was an offical mobile app to help attendees stay on track, find booths and get connected on social media.

“We attend the MEET Show simply because it’s the best place to showcase our company to a multitude of customers, consultants and partners,” said Randy Hayward with Schneider Electric. “The show is well organized, the attendees are the right fit for our products and services, and we always come away with good solid leads. That makes the show well worth the investment.”

At the Industry Dinner, Bob Pulsifer was presented with the MEET Show Recognition Award, to commemorate his years of service and efforts in shaping the MEET Show. Check out our story on more MEET winners HERE.
