March 22, 2019 – Electrical cable supplier Nexans Canada, based in Markham, Ont., has promoted Virya Hour (pictured) to vice-president (VP) of sales for its energy group.

Hour joined Nexans 18 years ago in a human resources (HR) role. Over the past 11 years, he has held a variety of sales roles, from account manager to, most recently, director of Canadian distribution sales.

In his new position, Hour will be responsible for both outside and inside sales, customer service and pricing for Nexans’ utility customers.
