Next generation LanTEK III series certifier from Ideal Networks

December 29, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

December 29, 2015 – Ideal Networks has upgraded its LanTEK cable certifier, used to help build cabling networks that meet existing TIA and ISO/IEC performance requirements up to Cat7A.

The Ideal LanTEK III incorporates Time Domain Return Loss (TDRL) and Time Domain Near End Crosstalk (TDX) so field technicians can locate issues quickly. TDRL and TDX convert confusing frequency graphs into easy-to-read plots that clearly show the exact distance to the fault, Ideal adds.

The LanTEK III is also available with optional Cat6A Permanent Link (PL) adapters.

Existing customers can trade in CAT5 (or higher) cable certifiers for the new LanTEK III-500 or LanTEK III-1000 models. To mark the launch, Ideal Networks is giving away a free iPad Mini 4 or Samsung Galaxy Tablet S8.4 with every purchase of LanTEK III until March 31, 2016.
