July 27, 2016 – The new NH switch-disconnector-fuses from Rittal now provide greater safety for operator-independent switching and disconnection with one device, according to the company.

The fuse strip is switched, with the aid of a spring, by tilting a lever and then permits operator-independent switching. The integrated snap-action mechanism with its double-break “ensures a rapid switching procedure and a defined switching point”, Rittal adds.

The NH switch-disconnector-fuse is installed vertically so a separate cable connection and routing chamber are unnecessary. Additionally, no drilling is required for contacting as fastening is performed with clamping screws or alternatively with screw fasteners, Rittal says.
