February 9, 2016 – CanSIA is looking to celebrate “those who stand above and rise to the challenges of the solar industry” through its Game Changer Awards. Nominations for 2016 are now open.

The Game Changer Awards recognize the “excellence of the many individuals and organizations that have helped the solar energy industry mature by pursuing the path that will lead us to an even brighter future”, CanSIA says.

The corporate awards are:
• Solar Adopter,
• Project Finance Innovation,
• Community/First Nations’ Solar Project,
• Solar Service Excellence,
• Solar Thermal Project of the Year,
• Solar PV Project of the Year,
• Solar Developer,
• Smart Energy Management.

The individual awards are:

• Solar Industry Leader,
• Emerging Solar Leader.

The deadline for nominations is March 1, 2016.

The awards will be presented at a special gala during the Solar Ontario Conference on May 16, 2016, at the Fallsview Casino Resort Niagara and Hilton Niagara Falls.
