August 14, 2019 – NSI Industries LLC (Huntersville, N.C.) has acquired Bridgeport Fittings Inc., a Stratford, Conn.-based manufacturer of electrical fittings for cable and conduit installations.

“The Bridgeport product portfolio is completely complementary to our electrical solutions and together we have the ability to successfully serve all of our markets with a more comprehensive set of solutions,” said G. R. Schrotenboer, CEO, NSI.

Bridgeport portfolio includes couplings, conduit bodies, transition fittings, bushings and solar connectors… over 2500 products and 172 patents, according to NSI. It employs about 200 people and will continue to operate out of Stratford.

NSI says it will evaluate and work with distributor and channel selling partners to figure out how best to integrate Bridgeport with NSI to “maximize operational synergies”.
