April 2, 2019 – OmniCable, a redistributor of wire, cable and electrical products, has expanded outside the U.S. for the first time with the opening of a new branch in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

OmniCable Toronto, the company’s 13th branch overall, is located at 8025 Dixie Road in Brampton, Ont., and can be reached by phone via (800) 292-OMNI. The approximately 50,000-sf facility opened its doors yesterday and will service electrical distributors across Canada.

“For many years, Canadian electrical distributors have encouraged OmniCable to bring our value-added services to their marketplace,” says Jeff Siegfried, OmniCable’s chair and CEO. “Our commitment has been well thought-out and researched. We have made significant investments so we can bring deep and diverse inventories to the market.”

“We offer access to a multi-million-dollar inventory from the top Canadian electrical industry manufacturers and to value-added services, including striping and special cut lengths,” says Chris Bjorkman, OmniCable’s director of market development, “all from a partner that only sells through distributors.”
