OPA funds renewable energy education and capacity-building

December 11, 2013 – The Ontario Power Authority has launched the Education and Capacity Building (ECB) Program, which provides support for “diverse education and capacity-building initiatives” as well as “to facilitate knowledge-sharing and the participation of various target audiences in Ontario’s renewable energy sector”.

First Nation and Metis communities and organizations, municipalities, public sector entities, registered charities, not-for-profit organizations and co-operatives are eligible to apply. Funding proposals are being accepted now until noon February 10, 2014.
