OPA issues RFI for resource options in Northwestern Ontario

April 2, 2014 – The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) is gathering information on the potential availability of diverse resource options in Northwestern Ontario, specifically in the districts of Kenora, Rainy River and Thunder Bay (roughly the area north of Lake Superior, stretching from Wawa in the east to the Manitoba border in the west).

On March 21, 2014, OPA published a Request for Information (RFI) for potential projects employing a broad scope of resources in the region. DOWNLOAD the RFI and Questionnaire below.

Those interested in providing project information are encouraged to complete and sign the questionnaire found in Appendix A of the RFI, which should be emailed with the Subject line “RFI – Resources in the NW” to NWRFI@powerauthority.on.ca by 4 pm, May 30, 2014.
