February 14, 2012 | By Alyssa Dalton

February 14, 2012 – NETcomm is there at BICSI 2012 Winter Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla., this week where Optical Cable Corp. (OCC) is debuting a new family of ultra high-density fiber optic cables. The new HC-Series cables feature unique tight-buffered 12-fiber units, combining the ruggedness of OCC’s tight-buffer technology with high-fiber density, it explains, adding that the line offers rugged cables that have a smaller outer diameter than conventional cables using loose tube construction. The cables are currently available in fiber counts from 24 fibers to 288 fibers.
