Osram Sylvania welcomes Marcello Coronatta as sales manager for Trade, Display/Optic, OEM, eastern region

Osram Sylvania’s JoAnn McKeown, vice-president, sales, Trade, has announced the appointment of Marcello Coronatta as sales manager for the Trade, Display/Optic and OEM channels for the eastern region. Coronatta will be based at the company’s eastern regional office location in Montreal, Que.

Here, he will be responsible for the sales growth of the industrial and commercial lighting market in province, as well as the regional Display/Optic market. He will also help to develop new business opportunities with existing and potential original equipment manufacturers. Reporting to Coronatta will be all eastern region account managers and B. Davis Agencies Ltd., located in Newfoundland.

“Coronatta brings with him extensive experience in the Canadian electrical industry, having held various sales and marketing positions,” said Osram.

He was most recently account manager, Trade for the Quebec City area, a post he held for more than three years. Previous to that, he served at Canlyte in product management and technical applications positions.

Coronatta holds a certificate in basic electricity and technical inside sales from Cegep Marie Victorin and a DEC in social science from Rosemont College. He also has completed a marketing certificate from HEC and a public relations certificate from the University of Montreal.
