December 7, 2011 – Lumin Solar Inc., a manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules, has shipped Ontario’s first certified LDK photovoltaic (PV) modules from its manufacturing facility in Ontario to Osso Electric Supplies (a division of Sonepar Canada Inc.).

“We are very excited about the LDK relationship and recent module shipments to our valued partner, Osso Electric Supplies,” said Brian Read, CEO Lumin Solar Inc. “We look forward to an exciting 2012 and to strengthening our commitment to the Ontario market and abroad.”

Lumin made this announcement after receiving plant certification from LDK Solar, and upon signing an agreement with LDK Solar to manufacture Ontario domestic content-compliant LDK monocrystalline PV panels.
