January 25, 2013 – When at Acklands-Grainger’s The Works 2013, we stumbled upon a vendor whose motto is “Outdoor writing products for outdoor writing people”. Back in the 1920s, Jerry Darling developed the early version of Rite in the Rain all-weather writing paper to address hassle of soggy and illegible paperwork for the Pacific Northwest logging industry… and the product has been evolving since. Today, the product is totally recyclable as standard paper, while its ‘Polydura’ cover and reference card substrate contains post-consumer recycled materials and is, itself, recyclable.
