Paladin Tools (a Textron company) says it has enhanced its line of voice, data and video tools with the development of 20 new or enhanced “customer-designed products for the electrical installer or contractor”. The GripPack PowerPlay PT-540 kits come with a PT-540 multi-tool, hex bit adapter, datacom snips, Mini Maglite and Sharpie marker that are held in place by a durable holder. There’s a swivelling quick-release belt clip. The GripPack Compact SurePunch Toolkit features a SurePunch Punchdown with 110/66 blade, datacom snips and a SureStrip UTP stripper, all held by a durable holder. Again, there’s a swivelling quick-release belt clip.
