Panasonic enhances processing power and battery life for Toughpad FZ-G1

December 13, 2016 – Panasonic has upgraded its Toughpad FZ-G1 rugged 10.1-in. tablet, now featuring a 6th generation IntelCore i5-6300U vPro processor along with the latest Microsoft Windows 10 Pro platform.
The tablet now provides up to 14 hours of continuous use with a single battery and up to 28 hours with an optional long life battery, Panasonic claims. Other enhanced features include the waterproof digitizer pen and the optional docking kiosk.
The Wi-Fi connectivity has also be improved, the company says, thanks to Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and SSD storage is now 256 GB/512 GB.
