October 3, 2016 – Ametek Solidstate Controls (SCI), which specializes in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), has promoted Jason Cotton to director/business manager at SCI. Cotton now oversees all sales and service activity globally as well as manages strategic operations, according to John Ely, marketing manager for SCI.

Cotton is a “20-year electrical manufacturing industry veteran” and has had numerous roles with SCI, including director of client services where he oversaw aftermarket parts sales, preventative maintenance and emergency service to industrial UPS equipment. His most recent position was director of global sales and service.
