March 2, 2017 – Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario (ECAO) reports it was honoured to receive the 2016 Chair’s Award from the Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA) at its annual general meeting last month. Congratulations!

At the discretion of the COCA chair, the award “recognizes a volunteer or an organization whose contributions to the success of COCA go above and beyond what is normally expected”.

ECAO membership consists of electrical contractors who have a contractual relationship with the IBEW.

COCA is a federation of construction associations representing ICI (institutional, commercial, industrial) and heavy civil construction employers in Ontario. The council says its member organizations represent more than 10,000 construction businesses and over 400,000 employees.
