New faces & roles for National Safety Apparel with Sweeney, Ensign, Linton & Hay-Rohrer

January 19, 2017 – National Safety Apparel (NSA) kicks off 2017 with a number of new appointments.

Larry Ensign joins the team as director of sales and Tracy Linton has been promoted from director of corporate development to vice-president of strategic accounts and corporate development.

Ensign began his career in the safety apparel and textile industries in 1993 with Cintas, followed by Springfield LLC and Milliken & Company.

Linton has been with NSA since late 2013 when it acquired Global Safety Labs’ protective apparel division, Spentex. He began his career in the protective apparel industry with Bulwark Protective Apparel in 1994 and held various senior level positions at Aramark, VF Imagewear, and Drifire, which is now a NSA brand.

The protective apparel manufacturer also announced the addition of Heidi Sweeney as director of marketing and the assignment of Alisha Hay-Rohrer to director of product management.

Alisha Hay-Rohrer joined NSA as a senior product manager in 2013 and Sweeney began marketing in the flame resistant garment industry in 2002 with Fire-Dex LLC, a fire safety manufacturer in Medina, Ohio. In addition, Sweeney was the co-founder and president of an internet safety apparel distributor.

National Safety Apparel has been a manufacturer of protective apparel for six industrial markets: arc flash, flash fire, heat and thermal, cut, high-visibility, and FR/AR rainwear since 1935.
