BICSI, the association “supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment”, has completed the 2010 board of directors election, and Anixter Canada’s Peter Levoy is the new Canadian Region Director, replacing Richard Smith.

Levoy currently serves as the vice-president of marketing for Anixter
Canada. He joined BICSI in 1993 and has since served on the Standards
Committee for two years and, later, joined the Membership &
Marketing Committee, where he served for two years. He has been an
active BICSI Cares Committee member since 2004 and is currently
vice-chair.

Levoy was the recipient of the Ross G.H. Cotton Canadian Region Award in May 2010.

The new officers will officially be inaugurated in January 2011 during
the BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition at the Rosen Shingle Creek
Resort in Orlando, Fla.
