Independent Electric Supply Inc. has announced the addition of Philips Canlyte Inc. to the Independent product line, effective June 1, 2011.

Philips Canlyte is a manufacturer and supplier of lighting fixtures and services, and includes brands CFI, Color Kinetics, Keene, Lightolier, Stonco and Wide-Lite brands.

According to Independent, the addition compliments its lighting portfolio and will allow Independent to represent the “best brands in the lighting industry” to cover different applications and budgets for its customer base.
