Philips Lighting Canada elevates McGlogan while Vincent assumes sales directorship

July 22, 2011 | By Anthony Capkun

July 21, 2011 – Philips Lighting Canada’s vice-president & general manager, Mike Gentile, announced Carol McGlogan will assume the role of director of marketing, Philips Lighting Canada, and have overall responsibility for both the Canlyte and Lighting Systems, Controls & Lamps marketing organizations in Canada. Pierre Vincent, meantime, will assume the role of director of sales, Canlyte, effective immediately.

McGlogan has been with the Canlyte organization for 26 years, most recently as director of sales and marketing for Canlyte. She has spent most of her career in marketing and channel management, while also being engaged with Electro-Federation Canada (EFC).

Vincent has been with the Canlyte organization for 31 years, most recently as senior manager sales, East. Pierre’s market relationships and experience in lighting will serve Canlyte well, says Gentile, as he leads the Canlyte sales efforts to further grow its market share in Canada.

“As stated in previous announcements, there are no changes to the existing sales organizations in either Canlyte or Lighting Systems, Controls & Lamps in Canada, with each group continuing to go to market via separate sales organizations, in order to maintain the unique and distinct partnerships that currently exist in the Canadian Lighting market,” added Gentile.
