September 22, 2015 | By Anthony Capkun

September 22, 2015 – EBMag recently returned from beautiful St. Andrews By-the-Sea, N.B., which played host to the Canadian Electrical Contractors Association (CECA) 2015 National Industry Conference.

Contractor delegates from across the country were there to catch up with one another, enjoy the sights (especially those found on the Algonquin Golf Course!) and attend several informative presentations, including Bob Onyschuck’s update on the Ontario College of Trades and Dan Leduc’s illuminating discussion on liens.

We also got the opportunity to meet two new ECA executive directors: Christina Nardiello of New Brunswick, who replaces David Ellis (retired); and Jeff Koller of Ontario, who replaces Eryl Roberts.

CECA is a federation of provincial and territorial electrical contractor groups that aims to represent electrical contractors at the national level (each member ECA appoints one rep to the association’s board of directors).
