June 14, 2017 - What a great year 2017 is turning out to be, especially as EBMag had the opportunity to celebrate Canada150 at the 11th edition of Electrifest—Nedco Canada’s largest selling show.

Held at Nedco’s distribution centre on Keaton Crescent, Electrifest XI featured 100+ top-name exhibitors showcasing everything from drills and arc wear to lighting, cabling and devices, and everything in between.

The event opened with the singing of O Canada and a special dance presentation from a First Nations troupe. It boasted show-stopping specials, live entertainment by The Dance Group (a high-energy, professional dance group), great door prizes and a $3000 Grand Prize trip voucher.

As in years past, the folks at Nedco graciously provided us with a table at the show, enabling us to chat with many of our readers while tweeting and photographing the event.

But perhaps the best part for me was being able to put Electrifest attendees and exhibitors on the cover of Electrical Business Magazine at our photo booth, which calls for a BIG THANKS to Nedco for making that dream of mine a reality. Not only could attendees see themselves on the cover, but they also received a printed copy and a digital version they could save and share.

Thanks again to Bob & Gerry, and all your staff, for having us! Sadly, Electrifest happens every three years, so stay tuned to EBMag for details on Electrifest XII in 2020.
