January 30, 2017 – EBMag was on site in Mont Tremblant last week for the Avalanche Media 2.0 event, hosted by Stanley Black & Decker and its subsidiaries.

“Bring the Noise is our internal rally cry for 2017,” said Joe Di Ilio, president of Stanley Black & Decker Canada, also noting how 2016’s FlexVolt power tool and battery system is still something to celebrate, as it “revolutionizes the cordless business”.

The event introduced a number of new products, such as the Next Generation Dewalt tape measures (with dual-spring technology), the Black & Decker circular saw with an integrated laser, and Porter Cable’s 20V Max lithium-ion brushless drill/driver (PCCK607LBLW) and 20V Max lithium-on brushless impact driver (PCCK647LBLW), among many others.

“We have the toughest jobsite on the planet, the toughest workers and so they’ll be using the toughest tools,” said Greg Weston, director of marketing at Stanley Black & Decker.
