December 14, 2018 – Canadian luminaire manufacturer Viscor has hired Pierre Legare as executive vice-president (EVP) of sales and marketing, effective Jan. 2, 2019.

Legare has more than 28 years’ experience in the electrical and lighting industry, including 17 years as Ontario commercial sales manager for Thomas & Betts (now ABB Installation Products) and the past seven years as vice-president (VP) of professional sales for Signify (formerly Philips Lighting Canada).

In his new role, he is responsible for all of Viscor’s customer-facing initiatives. The company’s customer services, marketing and sales teams for Canada and the U.S. will report directly to him.
