November 5, 2012 – Platinum Tools has launched its Hi-Performance Cat5e and Cat6 standard modular plugs, which claim to isolate each conductor at the point of termination, thanks to its Hi-Lo stagger design. According to the company, this allows air to surround each conductor and eliminate NEXT, FEXT and AXT, resulting in performance beyond certification requirements. The round-solid three-prong plug is UL rated (RoHS), FCC compliant, utilizes gold-plated contacts (50u), and is also available in round-stranded.
