Platinum Tools to debut Net Prowler PRO test kit

February 10, 2015 – Platinum Tools will unveil its Net Prowler Pro test kit at the 2015 BICSI Winter Conference and Exhibition, held in Orlando, Fla. from Feb. 22-26.

The Net Prowler Pro test kit measures cable length using TDR technology and generates tone levels for signal tracing and cable identification on all pairs, a selected pair, or a selected pin.

The unit also enables identification of a network drops link capability and current link status. It also tests the presence of PoE on the network drop and what class of PoE per IEEE 802.3 af/at with load test for voltage drop. These network tests can also be saved for record keeping and printing using the companion software application.

The Net Prowler (p/n TNP850K1) is now shipping with an MSRP of $999.95. A tester only kit (p/n TNP700) is also available with an MSRP of $799.95.
