Porter-Cable adds six cordless power tools to 20V Max Linked System

February 5, 2014 – Porter-Cable has added six cordless power tools, combination kit solutions and MaxPack lithium ion battery to its 20V Max Linked System. Boasting affordability, ergonomic design and 18 months of use on a full charge, the tools are designed for various jobsite applications.

The new cordless tools include the reciprocating tiger saw, circular saw, oscillating tool, cut-off tool/grinder, jigsaw and pivoting flashlight. The PCC670B reciprocating tiger saw, suited for cutting wood and metal, delivers a 1-in. stroke length and 0-3000 strokes-per-minute (SPM). Featuring a dust blower, the PCC660B 6-1/2 in. circular saw is ideal for crosscuts, ripping, beveling, and plunge cuts. The compact saw delivers 3700 revolutions-per-minute (RPM) as a 6-1/2-in. carbide tooth blade delivers 2-1/8-in. cutting capacity at 90°. The PCC710B oscillating tool boasts a tool-free system to help users perform quick and easy accessory changes or adjustments, as well as a three position over-mold grip and LED worklight. The PCC761B cut-off tool/grinder features a cast metal gear housing to help dissipate heat during extended use, and delivers 8500 RPM. The PCC650B jigsaw offers three orbital settings, a variable speed trigger that goes from 0-2500 SPM, and a 3/4-in. stroke length. The PCC700B flashlight features four LEDs and a pivoting head to adjust the light beam toward the desired woking area.
