August 22, 2011 – Porter-Cable has expanded its professional-grade 18V System with a new jobsite radio (model PC18JR) that delivers durability, performance and quality features at an excellent value, it claims. The radio operates on Lithium and NiCd Porter-Cable 18V System batteries, or with 120V mains power. Operating with 120 Volt mains power activates the two 120V AC outlets to provide additional outlets for other corded tools on the site, the company adds. The radio also includes a backlit clock and a digital tuner.
