July 4, 2011 – Porter-Cable has launched its 15 AMP Chop Saw (PC14CTSD), which it says has been designed to offer contractors performance, ergonomics, ease of use, and durability. The high torque motor delivers 3,800 RPM, and is said to be able to cut through materials, such as cast iron pipe, angle iron, threaded rod, conduit, square tubing, and more. The 35.2-lb saw is equipped with a “D” handle design for comfort and control when making cuts, adds the company.
