October 1, 2012 | By Alyssa Dalton

October 1, 2012 – PowerStream’s Conservation Road Show in Simcoe County, Ont., and York Region, Ont., is visiting local retail stores this fall.

The tour of retail outlets coincides with the launch of the fall 2012 ‘saveONenergy’ discount coupon program, which provides consumers with savings on various energy-efficient products while helping them to better understand the benefits of conservation.

“These instant discount coupons help families save money on the purchase of a select group of energy-efficient products,” said John Sherin, PowerStream’s director, Conservation and Demand Management (CDM). “We want our customers to include energy-efficiency as a regular part of their decision-making process when purchasing a product.”

The coupons, in combination with the Conservation Road Show, will enable PowerStream customers to learn more about conserving electricity when shopping at retail locations hosting the event, said PowerStream.
