Precision-Paragon [P2] releases TKL conversion kit

April 2, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

April 2, 2015 – Precision-Paragon [P2] has released a new TKL conversion kit. The kit upgrades fluorescent lighting commonly found in offices and commercial, health care and educational facilities to energy-efficient LED lighting, delivering up to 124 lumens per watt.

In many applications, the TKL retrofit kit can offer energy savings of up to 60% or more, the company claimed.

The TKL is an upgrade for prismatic fluorescent troffers, and reduces both waste and cost by reusing the existing fixture’s housing and lens, [P2] said.

Available in eight lumen packages delivering between 2,200 and 6,088 lumens per fixture, the TKL can be custom-configured in a range of configurations to include dimming, emergency battery backups and more.

“This truly is an industry-leading retrofit kit,” said Russ Price, [P2] director of engineering. “No other LED retrofit kit on the market today can match the TKL in terms of efficacy, ease of installation and value.”

Rated at 80 percent lumen maintenance at 60,000 hours, the TKL also comes with a five-year warranty.
